Donner Boy

In Donner Boy, you play through the story of Abir, a recent south-east asian immigrant to the small town of Dimmerthal in rural Germany. 
As he works his food-delivery job for the local Döner (Kebab) restaurant, he stumbles into something best left buried. He inadvertently kicks off the town's descent into a paranoid state of xenophobia.

Your choices influence how Abir reacts to these changes and who he can win over to his cause. Ultimately, you decide how — and if — this crisis is resolved for Abir, his friends, and the town of Dimmerthal.

                                                               

Expect a horror Visual Novel with an hour and a half to two hours of playtime, the option for romance, shaping your main character's outlook, and a branching ending.

This project was created as part of a Master's Thesis. If you want to help us with our research, we encourage you to fill out our survey (anonymous under European Data Protection laws).

You are welcome to fill in the survey, even if you didn't complete the game for any reason (though if you plan to finish it, we'd of course prefer that).
